2023 Winter Rookie League
Rookie League is for players who have just participated in Tennis Apprentice or 2 USTA Leagues or less without a lot of success. Spots are limited.
Rookie League will take place in November and December, on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings. All matches will be played at Newman Tennis Center, 3103 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta.
- Saturdays at 10:00 am, November 18 and December 16 (plus 1 more tbd)
- Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, November 28 and December 5 (plus 1 more tbd)
Cost
The registration fee was already included for 2023 Fall Tennis Apprentice participants. Registration is only $20 for everyone else, and includes up to 6 match dates.
Format
Monica Adee, New Player Coordinator (NPC) will set up matches, based on who signs up each week. There are no teams, but full matches will be played (two sets and a tie-break, if needed)
Participation
You must register (click on the button below) and let Monica know if you plan to play. Monica will send out a sign up form for each match, which needs to be completed, so she can set up the matches. If you play, please be on time. If something comes up, please contact Monica at (706) 251-5300.
What to Bring
Water bottle, plenty of water, a towel, hat or visor and a racket. We will supply tennis balls.
